Summary - 1 year fixed term contract - Part time hours

The FINEOS Dublin Finance team are responsible for all financial accounting, statutory reporting and the provision of tax information for all related entities. As FINEOS Corporation Holdings is a PLC, timely compliance on all tax matters will be paramount. The ideal candidate will be an experienced tax professional looking to utilize their skills for a multinational company in a progressive environment. This position forms an integral part of the Finance team and reports into the Group Financial Controller.

 

Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Responsibility for the day to day Tax affairs of FINEOS Ireland entity specifically Corporation tax, R&D Tax credits, Transfer Pricing, Secondments planning, Share Option scheme.
  • Managing the tax affairs of all regional subs which will involve working with the relevant Finance team members to ensure timely compliance for Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE etc.  
  • Business partnering with multiple regions and teams to ensure compliance and influence decisions and outcomes.
  • Liaising with 3rd party tax advisors for professional advice where necessary.
  • Liaising with Finance team for year end tax reporting and financial disclosures including Deferred Tax
  • Project tax work

 

Education and/or Experience     

  • Professional qualifications – ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent and fully qualified Chartered Tax Advisor / CTA.  
  • 3-5 years experience in Tax compliance (Corporate Tax, VAT, PAYE , R&D Tax), Tax audits, Tax planning,  Secondments.
  • Flexible attitude, good interpersonal skills, the ability to work within a team but also to take ownership to complete individual projects to tight deadlines.
  • Experience of working in a global environment with multiple stakeholders.  
  • Ability to work independently, to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and to bring tasks to completion.  
  • Knowledge of Acquisitions and divestures is beneficial though not essential for the position.

 

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Office usage and Strong Excel skills essential.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with a meticulous attention to detail for data integrity essential.
  •  Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and information into actionable insights and business recommendations.

 

Language Skills

  • Fluent in Business English (written and spoken)

 

Travel Requirements

This position does not require travel.
