Summary

This role supports the development of cloud-based insurance technology by applying data analysis, modeling, and machine learning techniques. The Graduate Data Scientist/Analyst works within agile SCRUM teams to solve real business problems, enhance product decision-making, and contribute to scalable analytics components

Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Perform data analysis and modeling to support product development and generate insights.
  • Use Python, SQL, AWS services, data visualization tools, and modern analytics platforms.
  • Apply statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and exploratory data analysis to business and product challenges.
  • Contribute to data pipelines, data quality improvements, and analytics components within Continuous Integration practices.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate coding, testing, analysis, and documentation

Education and/or Experience     

  • This position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience with Python for data-centric applications.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience from internships or academic group projects involving data or software collaboration.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with machine learning, generative AI, and AI-assisted tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems independently and through collaboration.
  • Good communication skills for working with global teams.

 

Technical Skills

  • Python, SQL, AWS cloud services.
  • Data visualization tools and modern analytics platforms.
  • Version control, CI/CD exposure, and data pipeline concepts.

Language Skills

  • Ability to speak the English language proficiently, both verbally and in writing.

 

Travel Requirements
