Summary
We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled SharePoint & Information Systems Specialist to join our Information Systems team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about streamlining business processes, integrating systems, and building automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency across the organization.
Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)
- Manage, configure, and secure our SharePoint platform including sites, lists, libraries, APIs, workflows, forms.
- Design, develop and set up integrations amongst on-premise and cloud systems using Powershell, MS Power Automate, APIs, XML.
- Manage and enhance custom built VB.Net applications.
- Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and deliver tailored automation solutions.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Provide technical support for internal and external users across multiple platforms
- Collaborate with other teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in comparable field.
- Microsoft certifications an advantage
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to gather user requirements, run workshops and co-ordinate large pieces of work and projects involving multiple departments.
- Attention to detail.
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and integrations.
- Track system risks and ensure systems comply with security policies.
Technical Skills
- Proven experience with SharePoint Online.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell.
- Experience with Power Automate.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration techniques.
- Strong experience in SQL (queries, stored procedures, views), and vb.net.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Power Automate, Teams, Forms, PowerBI) and cloud-based tools.
Language Skills
- Ability to speak the English language proficiently, both verbally and in writing.
Travel Requirements
