Summary:
As a member of the Solution Architecture practice team you will lead and support the definition of client implementation solutions. You will be required to develop your product and architecture skills to become an expert in the FINEOS product and its use in creating solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)
- Member of and promotion of the Solution Architecture practice ensuring that all aspects of the FINEOS solutions you are involved with are consistent with FINEOS standards.
- Direct involvement on projects during the pre-sales, mobilisation & planning, requirements and design phases of projects detailing and directing project solution activities to achieve project goals.
- Defining and designing with clients and FINEOS product stakeholders a solution roadmap that is aligned closely with the FINEOS product roadmap and strategic product direction.
- Working closely with Product Management and Product Architecture to promote project solution requirements and designs, outlining areas for product improvement and providing input to the product roadmap direction.
- Working closely with Product Engineering on product enhancements/new product build out; to ensure delivery of features are easy to implement and the customer’s needs are realized.
- Further development and implementation of the solution processes and standards.
- Ensure project solution and design decisions are well defined and communicated.
- Facilitate and participate in project solution reviews.
- Feedback project solution information to the practice team for potential features, improvements and reuse.
- Solution and estimation support to sales and pre-sales during implementation studies and bid proposals.
- Facilitate solution handovers from pre-sales during project initiation.
- Advocate of FINEOS Claims Cloud and FastTrack agile implementation approach.
- Working closely with Customer Account Managers to ensure customers are maximizing their usage of the FINEOS product.
Requirements
- The suitable candidate will possess most of the following:
- North American and/or European business knowledge of product lines such as Life, Income Protection/Disability and Absence Claims; knowledge of Policy Administration or Billing would also be advantageous.
- An excellent understanding of business needs, an ability to speak the business language and an ability to ensure project work is aligned to the customer’s strategic intent.
- Experience in defining and shaping FINEOS solutions on previous implementations.
- Expert on one or more areas of the FINEOS product suite: current features, roadmap features and solution patterns.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into FINEOS product feature functionality.
- Experience of providing solution supervision and mentorship is essential.
- Excellent requirements analysis, software design and data modelling skills including the ability to identify patterns in both requirements and solutions.
- Excellent communicator, process driven and proven leader with excellent influencing skills.
- Significant knowledge of the FINEOS architecture, infrastructure, and product set.
- Significant experience of defining integration and migration solutions.
- Ability and willingness to travel to other regions and customer sites.
- The applicant must be a self starter, excellent team player and demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
- Strong experience in estimation, scope management and risk assessment techniques.
- A good understanding of different software implementation methodologies.
Language & Skills:
- Ability to speak the English language proficiently, both verbally and in writing.
Travel Requirements:
- This position requires up to 10% travel.

Work Requirements:

Salary Range: $125K - 166K
